ABOUT US

The Renewable Energy Association of the Philippines (REAP) was established in 1985 as a non-profit organization promoting the development and commercialization of renewable energy nationwide. It evolved from the Solar Industries Association of the Philippines (SIAP) after encouragement from the government to cover all renewable energy fields.Today, REAP serves as the umbrella organization for the renewable energy sector in the Philippines, representing solar, biomass, wind, and microhydro energy through its sectoral associations. It works closely with related organizations on renewable energy policy, energy efficiency, and conservation, and is affiliated with various national and international energy, environment, and technology groups.
